TN Resolution 51

A Call to Prayer and Fasting: Our Response to Tennessee Resolution 51
Beloved Church Family,
Historic moment: Tennessee's legislature has called our state to prayer and fasting this July, acknowledging that "except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain." (Psalm 127:1). They're asking God to remove corruption, heal families, and transform our communities.
This is our moment. We will not let this call go unanswered. Join us in daily prayer and fasting throughout July—seeking God's forgiveness, praying for our leaders, and believing for revival in Tennessee.
The question isn't whether God can transform our state. It's whether we'll be the generation that prays Heaven down to earth.
Let's show Tennessee what happens when God's people truly seek His face.

What a beautiful opportunity for our entire state to acknowledge Christ in prayer together.
I had the honor, alongside two brethren after an ‘Iron Sharpens Iron’ meeting with some brothers in Christ last night, to be approached by Monty Frits, District 32 State Representative.
n
nYou may not be familiar with his name but I have prayed for him, along with specific leaders in the state of Tennessee.

nMonty approached me last night after hearing some of us discuss Psalm 139 (I was getting feedback for next Sunday’s Bible study of that Psalm). He wanted to share how encouraged he was by our public and open praising of God’s name. I told him how encouraged I was to read Resolution 51 and asked for the etymology of it and shared how important I believe for believers of Jesus Christ to pray for its leaders and fellow citizens. We finished our conversation in prayer. It was a beautiful moment to share with him, Mark Townsley, and Phil Yates.

nHeavenly Father, please continue to show us the fruit of your labors in moments like this!!
