"You Must Be Perfect"Â - Matthew 5:48
When Jesus told His disciples "You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect," was He setting an impossible standard?
The Greek word "teleios" means complete, mature, wanting nothing necessary for completeness. Jesus wasn't demanding sinless perfection—He was calling His followers to spiritual maturity and growth.
Just as the disciples were being prepared for their greatest work (building the church and preaching the Gospel), we too are called to:
✨ GROW in grace and knowledge
✨ LEARN God's Word faithfully
✨ BE READY to give an answer for our Hope
You're a work in progress—keep growing! 📈
