We (not just our American society, but the Lord’s church within American society) are a byproduct of our culture. And, our history has shown that the lack of discussion and practice of “gentleness” has shown to be reflected in our culture till recent years. Christians MUST realize that this is a fundamental character trait of God’s spirit that we are to be clothed with if we are to imitate our Savior.
