Jesus set an extraordinary example of the value and love that God places on children. In a time when children were often considered insignificant in society, Jesus invited them to come to Him, declaring that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these (Matthew 19:14). His actions and words revealed a deep care for their innocence, humility, and faith, reminding us that children are not just the future of the Church, but integral to the Kingdom now. As we reflect on this, we are called to value, nurture, and protect children, following Jesus’ example in how we engage with the youngest among us.
