Apologetics seems all the rage these days on Social Media as Christians seek to “defend the faith”. Apologetics, as used in modern context, definitely serves a purpose and is helpful to the cause of Christianity. That said, Christians need to be reminded that apologetics should never be used to “prove” Christianity, the gospel, the existence of God, etc. No, it is the gospel that is sufficient to all who (would) believe.
