Our LDS (Latter-Day Saints) friends believe the Book of Mormon to be Scripture and ask us to “ponder in their hearts the message it contains”. In part 2 of this mini-series we look at whether or not this book stands as a historical document.
Note from Mitch: I had a beneficial conversation with members from the Ladder-day Saints who corrected me on the Book of Abraham. They said that it belonged to the Pearl of Great Price, not the Book of Mormon. My ignorance showed as I lumped the “Book of Mormon” into all LDS related scriptures. There were other areas of discussion, but I’ll let you all listen to the sermon and make your own judgment based upon your research and study.
